Specifications

Description

Josheghan Marble | Light, Classic Marble for Interior Floors, Stairs and Walls

Josheghan Marble is a well-known Iranian marble, mentioned in the building stone market alongside names such as Dehbid, Khoy, Abadeh, Gandomak and Neyshabur. It is mostly considered for projects that want a light, calm and classic look indoors.

Colour and Appearance

In the photos of this product, Josheghan Marble has a light background from pale cream to bone white, with a network of fine hairline veins and small natural spots. The veins are usually thin and scattered, creating a soft, natural texture rather than strong contrast.

Some grades are very light, while others show more veins and spots. The whiteness of the background, the density of the lines and the uniformity differ between grades, so the selection should be made by comparing several pieces from the deliverable batch.

Applications

  • Interior flooring: for residential units, living rooms and corridors in light, classic projects.
  • Interior stairs: a practical option for large quantities, controlled budgets and light designs.
  • Interior wall cladding: for light surfaces and calm spaces.
  • Counters and vanity tops: keeping in mind marble's sensitivity to acids and stains.

Josheghan Marble is supplied as slabs for large surfaces and as tiles for regular floor and wall installation.

Available Finishes

A polished finish best shows the light background and fine veins and is the usual choice for interior floors and walls. Honed gives a more matte look and shows scratches less. Textured finishes such as leathered, chiseled, grooved, rock-face, flamed-leathered and leathered bush-hammered are also available for decorative surfaces. For stairs, specify the edge profile and slip reduction from the start.

Price

The price of Josheghan Marble depends on grade, background lightness, amount of veining, dimensions, thickness, finish, order quantity and shipping. The figure shown on this page is the starting price per square metre; the final price is confirmed after reviewing the deliverable batch and order specifications.

Buying Guide

  • For light floors and stairs, vein control and polish quality are important; view several tiles side by side.
  • Agree on the acceptable range of colour variation and vein density before ordering.
  • Choose thickness according to use and check edges and corners.
  • Match photos of the deliverable stock and the pro-forma specifications to your project, and agree on dimensional tolerances and packing.
