Specifications

Description

Aligudarz Crystal | White Crystal Stone with Linear Grey Veins for Feature Walls, Floors and Book-matched Slabs

Aligudarz Crystal is one of the known names in the Iranian crystal (chini) stone market, usually recognised by a white or light grey background with natural veins. It is a strong option for feature walls, bathrooms, interior floors and minimal spaces, and some slabs allow book-match or four-match layouts.

Colour and Appearance

In the photos of this product, Aligudarz has a white to very light grey background with linear, parallel veins in dark grey to charcoal. The veins are usually directional and diagonal, giving the surface continuous movement; some pieces also show small darker lenses along the veins.

The whiteness of the background, vein direction and how busy the pattern is differ between grades. With veined stones, slabs should be selected from complete, side-by-side photos so the lines stay continuous after installation.

Book-matching and Vein Direction

The linear veins of Aligudarz look especially striking in book-match or four-match layouts. For this, consecutive slabs from the same block should be sourced and numbered, and vein direction should be fixed on the wall or floor plan before cutting.

Applications

  • Feature walls and decorative slabs: where the linear veins are best seen.
  • Interior floors and stairs: with a finish suited to foot traffic.
  • Bathrooms: with a less slippery finish on floors.
  • Interior wall cladding, and facades where conditions allow.

It is supplied as slabs for showing the veins and book-matching, and as tiles for regular surfaces.

Available Finishes

Polished brings out the white background and the contrast of the veins, while honed gives a calmer, matte look. Textured finishes such as leathered, flamed, flamed-leathered, bush-hammered, leathered bush-hammered, grooved, rock-face and lava are also available for low-slip floors, facades and textured walls.

Price

The price of Aligudarz Crystal depends on grade, background whiteness, vein direction and density, dimensions, thickness, finish, order quantity and shipping. The figure shown on this page is the starting price per square metre; the final price is confirmed after reviewing the deliverable batch and order specifications.

Buying Guide

  • For book-matching, source consecutive, numbered slabs from the same block.
  • Check slab soundness, possible cracks and the quality of resin or mesh on the back.
  • View several pieces side by side to judge background whiteness and colour range.
  • Match photos of the deliverable stock and the pro-forma specifications to your project, and agree on dimensional tolerances and packing.
