Description

Takab Silver Travertine is an Iranian natural stone with silver, grey, smoky, and charcoal tones, sometimes accompanied by lighter natural veins. Its neutral palette, cutting and finishing options, and availability as blocks or processed products make it relevant to contemporary architecture and export supply. Color, veining, and consistency should be selected from the actual block and production grade.

Silver Selection and Takab Color Range

Silver and grey selections are the best-known Takab materials, ranging from light silver to smoky and charcoal backgrounds. These tones work with glass, exposed concrete, metal, wood, and contemporary ceramics. Takab can also include light cream, medium cream, and chocolate-cream selections, while export demand for this product is primarily associated with the Silver type.

Vein Cut and Cross Cut

Vein Cut reveals the natural bedding as longer parallel lines and is suited to slabs, feature walls, lobbies, commercial interiors, and modern facades. Cross Cut displays cloud-like patterns and irregular mineral movement for a quieter appearance. Cutting direction should be selected according to the block, project design, and intended stone layout.

Takab Silver Travertine Slabs and Blocks

Large slabs show the silver and grey transitions across a continuous surface and can be considered for lobbies, TV walls, feature walls, office interiors, villas, and contemporary interior design. Where the pattern allows, bookmatch or four-match layouts should be approved using complete slab images before cutting and installation.

Raw blocks suit factories that intend to control cutting, thickness, filling, resin treatment, and finishing at destination. Structural integrity, fractures, color consistency, vein direction, slab potential, and processing yield are important block-selection criteria.

Dimensions and Finishes

Common formats include 30 x 60 cm and 40 x 80 cm at 10 mm or 20 mm thickness. These formats may be produced at 30 mm for dry-fixed facades where the attachment design and engineering requirements approve it. Slabs, tiles, stair treads, facade pieces, cubic stone, and custom dimensions can also be produced according to the block and order.

Finishes can include polished, resin-and-mastic filled, unfilled, honed, leathered, rock face, guillotine, pre-cut, scratch, and manual or machine hammered surfaces. Finish selection should match the application, traffic, slip requirements, climate, and maintenance plan.

Applications and Export Supply

Takab Silver Travertine can be considered for facades, dry cladding, feature walls, lobbies, commercial spaces, villas, interior or semi-covered flooring, stairs, and decorative walls. Flooring and exterior use depend on grade, thickness, finish, and installation conditions.

Sange Hassan can review domestic and export supply as raw blocks, slabs, tiles, and custom pieces. Buyers should specify grade, color range, cutting direction, dimensions, thickness, finish, quantity, packing, and destination so the appropriate available material can be evaluated.
